COVID Long haulers and Other Chronic Illness

Overwhelmed is the word I hear most often. Feeling hopeless is a common denominator. Sick and tired of being sick and tired, yet not having the energy to do anything about it.

If you are dealing with long haulers/post-acute COVID, fibromyalgia, lupus, migraine, or another chronic condition, you have come to the right place.

Know you can:

» Once again, take control of your life and health.

» Not be defined by your illness and gain some freedom from your illness.

» Learn to pace yourself and have less flare-ups.

» Get more done with less effort by managing your energy effectively.

» Streamline your life and time by getting rid of the unnecessary clutter.

» Implement self-care techniques. These will help sharpen your sword. “Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill.

Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt.” Lao Tzu, a 6th century BC Chinese philosopher, writer and founder of Taoism.

» Food can inflame. Google it. Healthier eating habits can be simple, yet effective.

» Having hope that life can be great again is not only possible but a natural part of the program.

» Find a sense of calm and peace of mind.

» And of course, increase your wellness level

Lymphatic System Loving And Immune System Detox and Boosting

Your lymphatic system cleans your body (including the brain) of cellular waste. When it is functioning properly, it flows with a certain rhythm, cleaning up the garbage, while defending you against infection. When it is compromised… well, let us just start by saying, “Oh Oh!”

You know what happens when the garbage is not taken out… You know what happens when you cannot fight an infection– The inflammation this causes is the basis of most diseases. If it is not working properly, fluid can build up in your tissues. Lymphatic system problems can include infections, blockage, and cancer. Chronic inflammation is sometimes “silent,” without symptoms. However, very often a person may also feel tired and generally unwell.

A compromised immune system may seriously reduce one’s quality of life. When our immune system fails, it can have a variety of adverse consequences, including a compromised ability to defend us from infections.

At the furthest extreme of immune failure, individuals may have an increased rate of certain cancers and the development of autoimmune diseases. Examples of these types of disorders include: rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disease such as lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, in addition to many poorly understood diseases including chronic fatigue syndrome.

Lifestyle changes can help bolster your immune system; it is a fact. You can start making changes today! When you want to feel strong and fight off that feeling of feeling lousy, give us a call!

There are techniques capable of boosting our immune systems, resulting in improved health and improved quality of life!

» When you want to boost your immune system, resulting in improved health and quality of life, but you do not know where to begin, a Health and Wellness Coach just might be what the doctor ordered.

» When you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, a Health and Wellness Coach just might be what the doctor ordered.

» When you know that what you should do, but it is just not what you are doing, a Health and Wellness Coach just might be what the doctor ordered.

Finding your calm in a world of uncertainty: The Art of Relaxation

It should be easy to find a little time for yourself, but it’s not. You know how important deep breathing is, but finding time for it, has not happened. Meditation instead of medications sounds wonderful, but how to make this change is the question.

Chronic stress may be responsible for as much as 90% of all doctor visits in the U. S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. When stress hormones like cortisol remain present for too long, they can cause disruptions that lead to premature aging, heart conditions, and other issues.

You want to slow down, rest and relax, trim your to-do list, and you want to count to 10 before responding and yet you react because you can’t even get to number 1, but you just don’t know how or even where to begin to accomplish this.

Well, this might be the time to look for a partner to help you gain the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence to reach your health goals. A Health and Wellness Coach just might be what the doctor ordered!

So, if you are ready to take your control back, let’s talk.
