This policy page outlines our practices and guidelines to help prevent misunderstandings and maintain a respectful relationship with our valued clients.

Appointments and Cancellation Policies:
- Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient and cannot always be filled on short notice. Cancellations and missed appointments limit our ability to serve other patients.
- Appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling and 48 hours’ notice for Couples Massage sessions or appointments involving two or more services.
- Appointments cancelled with less than the required notice will be charged the full price of the scheduled services.
- Rescheduling an appointment with less than the required notice is treated as a late cancellation and does not waive the cancellation fee.
- Deposits for Couples Massage sessions and Multiple Session bookings are non-refundable. Rescheduling does not waive the cancellation policy.
- All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.
Later Arrivals
- If a patient arrives late, the appointment will still end at the originally scheduled time in order to avoid delaying other patients. Late arrival will result in reduced treatment time.
- Because the appointment time was reserved exclusively, the full appointment fee remains the patient’s responsibility regardless of the amount of treatment time received.
- For patients using insurance, claims are submitted only for the actual treatment time provided. Any portion of the reserved appointment time not covered by insurance due to late arrival remains the responsibility of the patient.
- To help ensure you receive your full scheduled appointment time, we recommend arriving approximately 15 minutes early.
Appointment Consideration
- Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient. We kindly ask that appointments be cancelled as early as possible when a change is needed. While our policy requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, additional notice is greatly appreciated whenever possible.
- Many patients are waiting for appointments, and earlier notice often allows us to offer that time to someone who needs it.
- Some patients maintain recurring appointments reserved weeks or months in advance. When these appointments are cancelled close to the scheduled time—even when done within policy—it may limit the opportunity for other patients to schedule needed care.
- For this reason, the practice may adjust scheduling practices when appointments are frequently cancelled or rescheduled. In some cases, appointments may be scheduled closer to the desired visit date rather than reserved far in advance.
- Recurring appointment times are reserved as a courtesy and are intended for patients who are able to maintain those appointments consistently.
- We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us maintain appointment availability for all patients.
Gratuity Guidelines:
- Individual Services: Gratuities are appreciated (customary 18%-22%) and can be left at the front desk or given directly to the therapist.
- Couples Massage: A 20% gratuity is required for weekend sessions.
- Spa Parties: A standard gratuity of 30 cents per minute per session will be automatically added. Adjustments can be made within 24 hours by contacting our Director or Event Coordinator.
Gift Certificates:
- Use and Restrictions: Discounted gift certificates must be used for the originally purchased service or applied to another service at regular rates.
- Expiration: After expiration, certificates revert to the original purchase value and can be applied to regular-priced sessions.
- Blackout Dates: Certain dates, like Valentine’s Day and Valentine’s Week (Feb. 12–23, 2025), may restrict usage.
No-Fault Insurance Policies:
- Responsibility: Clients must cover missed or rescheduled sessions not reimbursed by insurance.
- Therapist Rotation: No-fault patients will see various therapists, with limited weekend availability, to ensure diverse expertise.
- Independent Medical Exams (IME): Clients are responsible for charges not covered after an IME is conducted.
Emergencies and Weather Cancellations:
In cases of inclement weather or emergencies, clients can reschedule without penalty. Refunds are not issued, but credits for unused services are valid for six months.
Pre-Cautions and Medical Conditions:
Certain medical conditions may not be compatible with spa treatments. Please consult your physician before booking if you have:
- Serious cardiac conditions
- Blood clots
- Skin disease or wounds
- Tumors or cancer
- Fever
- Fractures or dislocations
Pregnant clients or those with chronic conditions must inform us in advance and provide appropriate medical clearance if requested.
Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy and never share or sell personal information. Medical records will only be released with your written consent.
