Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
The color green may positively impact our thinking, our relationships, and our physical health. Green is thought to relieve stress and help heal.
There are many health benefits to going green. Some of these include: Giving you a sense of purpose, teaches mindfulness and lowers the risk of stress related disorders
Living green isn’t just some cool trend or making sure you eat your vegetables. As we all know it, the earth is tearing itself down, and our country is extremely rich of nature. Our job is to conserve and take care of it. You can start of by simply doing the 3R’s: REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE.
What is that mean?
REDUCE – When we REDUCE we lessen the amount of waste we create. There is too much waste in our environment so let’s use what we already have instead of buying something new whenever possible.
REUSE – To REUSE means to continue using the products you have, instead of throwing them away and buying new ones. We can start by using refillable containers, like water bottles and soap containers, whenever possible.
RECYCLE – This mean saving items that can be mad into other products. Separate your garbage to Wet/Dry/Recycle and ask your parents to find local retailers that accept products like used batteries, paint cans, plastic bags, and cell phones, and take these items there when you are finished using them.
Children’s role are important to the environment. We need to care about the wellbeing of the planet because it affects our health and future.
Think green, love green, and live green!
